Caroline was incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process! Being in hospitality and planning our wedding from afar was a different sort of challenge, Caroline was exactly what we needed. When we felt overwhelmed or stressed, she was there to talk through every part of the day. We opted for day of assistance and got way more than we anticipated. Caroline stepped in 8 weeks out from wedding day and was instrumental in coordinating our details, working with vendors, and planning each minute. Day off, Caroline handled us, our family, and guests with care. We still talk about how stress free and smooth the day was, all because Caroline was in the background ensuring anything that arose was taken care of. If anyone asks me the best decision we made on wedding day (besides each other) was having Caroline as our coordinator. We can’t say enough how much we appreciate Caroline & team being a part of our big day!

The best decision I could have possibly made when I started wedding planning was hire Caroline. She became my right hand for everything from dream boarding, to selecting vendors, to handling communications and coordinating, to calming me down when things became too overwhelming. She is always so positive and fun, she made the entire process feel like a breeze and I can fully and confidently say we couldn't have done it without her. She made my pinterest board come to life (and really, all my wedding dreams come true!) We adore Caroline and couldn't speak more highly of her.

Our wedding day simply would not have been as perfect as it was without the help of Caroline and her team. We began working with Caroline about 3 months before the wedding and her attention to detail, ability to adapt to our vision, and overall effort was incredible. We brought Caroline on 4-6 weeks out from our wedding. She was instrumental in helping alleviate the pressure on us during those final weeks - she became the point of contact for all our vendors communicating behind the scenes, making sure all the final details and arrangements were being made and accounted for. We would meet regularly for status check ins and she always went above and beyond and offered to help with anything else that she could. Even for our rehearsal dinner which wasn't exactly part of her job description, she was beyond helpful in helping pick things up to/from the venue and caterer because we couldn't. She is extremely organized, communicative, solutions-oriented, and not to mention just a cool person who is so friendly and funny that she'll make it feel fun. Can't recommend Caroline and Protea enough!

We truly cannot say enough good things about Caroline. From start to finish, everything was seamless, thoughtful, and perfectly executed. She handled the rain and our rain plans with precision and perfection, and she even handled our polaroid set up perfectly, making sure we got a photo of every guest which was super important to us. She truly handled every single detail with such care and professionalism that we were able to be fully present and actually enjoy our day.
Any stress we thought we might feel just never showed up, because she was always one step ahead. Every timeline, every transition, every little detail was handled flawlessly. Even the moments when I struggled with the fact my parents wouldn't be there because they had passed away, she handled those emotions with grace and was someone I could open up to.
If you’re looking for someone who will make your wedding day feel effortless and completely taken care of, she is the one. Protea Event Planners is hands down the BEST wedding vendor. Caroline is incredibly organized and always on top of everything. A friend referred her to us, and we are so grateful they did!
She was a great communicator, always responding promptly to texts and emails, checking in regularly, and keeping us on track. The shared Google Drive she created was also incredibly helpful in keeping everything organized. She was always so willing to help in any way possible, which made our lives so much easier! She is very responsible and reliable!
As an Asian American couple, we truly appreciated how culturally sensitive and respectful she was. She made us feel comfortable and understood throughout the entire process.

Out of all of the many many decisions we made for our day, booking with Protea Event Planners was the best decision we made hands down. Caroline was a pleasure to work with and totally calmed any of our stress and anxiety during the days leading up - I can honestly say it’s because of her that we had a completely stress-free wedding day! Not only was it her lovely presence that made the day go perfectly, it was also her skill, natural talent, and years of experience in the industry. She put out all of the small fires, kept everything and everyone involved on time and running smoothly (with a huge bridal party, off-site church ceremony, and two wedding dress looks), and made every detail, no matter how small, of our vision come to life! She made herself extremely available and accessible for our many questions and concerns and never made us feel crazy :) Caroline absolutely went above and beyond for us and we cannot emphasize enough how crucial of a part she was in our day being so amazing. "Caroline was an absolute dream to work with. We hired her as our day of coordinator to eliminate stress on ourselves and family on the big day. She was super involved during the entire process, not just the big day, and helped with vendor searches and selections, decor ideas, ceremony and reception layouts, and more! We were from out of town and she helped us feel comfortable and confident that the wedding would be beautiful, even if we couldn’t meet up in person many times leading up to it. We toured the venue with her once before the big day and it truly made my husband and I both feel so relaxed because Caroline SAW our vision and helped us brainstorm fun ideas that we had never considered before.

Protea Event Planners was hands down the piece to my wedding planning puzzle that I needed to keep my stress at bay in planning my wedding in 7 months! The last few weeks leading up to my wedding in May this year were not stressful for me as I knew that Caroline and her team did exactly what she said she would. She made multiple timelines for us- editing them and passing them back and forth to vendors leading up to the week of the wedding & then facilitated our walk-through the evening before the wedding.
Unfortunately because of the nature of the wedding industry, Caroline had another wedding booked in NY for the day after ours & therefore passed mine to her assistant for day of coordinating. Crystal and Megan executed the ceremony and reception beautifully, and I know this because I do not even know all the details of behind the scenes action they had to do to make our wedding day exactly what we wanted!

She is extremely professional and very easy to work with on what can sometimes be stressful days for vendors!
